With the declining birth-rate around the world, consequently less pressure on natural resources, will that lead to less pressure to 'grow the pie' eg less creativity how to use those natural resources?

But I have always despised Paul R Ehrlich : The credentialed "panic merchant" who wrote the
"best seller" 'The Population Bomb' and discredited and besmirched forever the good name of Paul Ehrlich !
What a fraud ! And yet "the leftists" seized on his nihilistic Malthusian predilection to formulate adverse policies , attitudes and 'controls' that impaired all our rights and freedoms !
